Description:

• A multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join the team in Philadelphia, PA. The firm provides services including environmental consulting, environmental remediation, environmental management, regulatory compliance, and construction management. The Environmental Engineer (P.E) should have at least 4 years of experience working on environmental remediation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing project team, delegating to office and field staff, and executing day to day activities of projects.
• Conducting internal and client communications.
• Monitoring team performance for compliance with contractual agreements and budgets.
• Preparing proposals and reviewing/writing environmental reports.
• Resolving project contractual and financial issues (including terms of agreement, changes in scope, billing process).
• Managing and mentoring company staff of project-level scientists and engineers.
• Preparing technical design/analyses/calculations.
• Participating in meetings and agency consultation.
• Design of groundwater treatment, subslab depressurization, and air-sparge/vapor extraction systems.
• Design of in-situ chemical oxidation remedies.
• Design of earthwork projects including support of excavation.
• Stormwater and erosion control design and permitting.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally.

Qualifications:

• B.S in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field.
• P.E required.
• OSHA 40 strongly preferred.
